JPSC to Conduct Civil Services Exam for 142 Regular Posts — Proposal Sent by Personnel Department
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is set to conduct the Combined Civil Services (Regular) Examination – 2025 for appointment to 142 regular posts. The Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha has formally sent the requisition proposal to JPSC for initiating the recruitment process.

Proposed Examination Schedule (Tentative)
- Preliminary Examination (PT): 8 March 2026
- Main Examination: 2, 3 and 4 May 2026
- Interview (Personality Test): 16, 17, 18 and 19 June 2026
These dates are based on the proposal and are aligned with the JPSC Exam Calendar 2026. Final confirmation will come through the official JPSC notification.
Age Calculation Reference
As per the proposal, the cut-off date for age calculation is likely to be 1 August 2025 for Civil Services Examination–2025.
What Happens Next?
- JPSC will scrutinize the requisition sent by the Personnel Department.
- After approval, an official notification (Advertisement) will be issued.
- The notification will include detailed eligibility criteria, application dates, fees and exam instructions.
