30 May 2025 – The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the much-awaited notification for the 71st Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025, announcing 1,250 vacancies across key administrative posts.

- Total Vacancies: 1,250 across 10 major services
- Application Dates: 2 June – 30 June 2025
- Prelims Exam Date: Rescheduled to 13 September 2025 due to administrative reasons
- Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university (final year students eligible)
- Age Limit:
- General (Male): 21 – 37 years
- General (Female), OBC, EWS: 21 – 40 years
- SC/ST: 21 – 42 years
- Selection Process: Prelims → Mains → Interview

Exam Structure:
- Prelims: 150 objective-type questions (General Studies), 2 hours, -0.25 negative marking
- Mains: Descriptive – Hindi (Qualifying), GS Papers I & II, Optional Subject
- Interview: For mains qualified candidates
Important Note: The Prelims exam was initially scheduled for 10 September 2025 but has been rescheduled to 13 September 2025. Admit cards will be available approximately 10 days before the exam on the official BPSC website.

- Register with valid email & mobile number
- Fill in personal & academic details, upload documents
- Pay application fee and submit form
- Download and save submitted form
